Weeks before foster parents and cottage parents take the hands of our children and walk with them on that first day of school, we are getting ready.
While some of Baptist Children's Homes' (BCH) boys and girls are already with us, others will not arrive until mid-summer. While we do not know the names and faces of those children, we do know they will need extra comfort, compassion, and the helping hands of a friend like you. Living in our cottages and family foster homes will be new to them and we know change isn't easy. They are starting over at a new home, a new school, and making new friends. So how does your Back-to-School gift help? First, you help ensure every child has a safe home. Second, you provide them the new clothes and school supplies they need to feel confident on their first day of school. Most importantly, because of you, the love of Jesus is able to be shared with them.
Please give so that, hand in hand, we may share HOPE with vulnerable children.
Thank you for giving. David Melber, BCH CEO

Dear friend,
From all of us at Baptist Children’s Homes of NC, thank you—truly. Your generous gift does more than meet a need... it brings hope, healing, and a glimpse of God’s unfailing love to children and families in crisis.
Because of you, a child who once felt forgotten now knows they are seen. A family overwhelmed by hardship is reminded that they are not alone. Your support is so much more than a donation—it’s a powerful investment in restoration, redemption, and real, lasting change.
You are a blessing to us—and to every boy and girl whose life is being transformed through your compassion. We simply couldn’t do this without faithful friends like you.
